1. Heron Hill Winery
Heron Hill Winery is one of our favorite stops on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. This winery has earned a variety of accolades for its reds, whites, rosés, and dessert wines. No matter which blend you choose, you can’t go wrong! Nestled on a hill overlooking Keuka Lake, you can’t beat the stunning views here, either.
2. Hunt Country Vineyards
Next, visit Hunt County Vineyards. This winery on Keuka Lake boasts delicious blends and beautiful views. This winery also allows guests to choose which wines they’d like to taste, rather than choosing from a prix-fixe menu of tastings.
3. Keuka Spring Vineyards
Keuka Spring Vineyards is the perfect place for a picnic along the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Here, you can taste everything from dry reds to sweet ice wines, so there’s truly a blend for everyone’s palate. This winery also offers a selection of locally sourced cheese, crackers, and other snacks to enjoy alongside your glass or bottle of wine.
4. Stever Hill Vineyards
Will you be traveling with someone who prefers beers over blends? Then Stever Hill Vineyards is just the place for your group! This winery on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail offers flights of local beer and wine. You can also enjoy live music on the deck gazebo of the Crooked Barn Tasting Room on select dates from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
5. Vineyard View Winery
Vineyard View Winery is a must-visit destination on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Here, you can enjoy beautiful views of Keuka Lake from the deck as you sip on blends that the Folts family have been perfecting for five generations. Local cheeses, meats, and snacks are also available for purchase.
6. Weis Vineyards
Weis Vineyards in Hammondsport, NY, boasts some of the best German-style wines in the Finger Lakes. The standard wine tasting here is $10 for samples of five unique handcrafted wines. After your tasting, purchase a glass of your favorite blend to enjoy on the outdoor patio with beautiful views of Keuka Lake.
