1. Keuka Outlet Trail
Keuka Outlet Trail is a 6.8-mile-long trail system bordering the Keuka Lake Outlet. As you follow this rail trail between Penn Yan and Dresden, you’ll pass cascading waterfalls, flowing creeks, old mill sites, and more! 2. Keuka Lake State Park
Keuka Lake State Park is another great spot for hiking in the Finger Lakes. This 621-acre New York state park has eight hiking trails that range from 0.4 miles to 1.3 miles long. Watkins Glen State Park is one of the most popular spots for hiking in the Finger Lakes. Located just a 30-minute drive from Hammondsport, this New York state park is home to the famed Gorge Trail. The 1.5-mile-long Gorge Trail follows the flow under Glen Creek, which descends 400 feet, creating 19 waterfalls along the path. It’s especially beautiful in the spring after it’s rained!
